I'm a passionate software development placement student from Cirencester, with a love for coding and problem-solving. Outside of tech, I enjoy camping and exploring the outdoors. I also work part-time in a kitchen at Loungers PLC, balancing my creative side with hands-on teamwork and experience.

My interest in computing began in ICT lessons in school. Although I enjoyed learning the basics of coding and systems, it was not enough for me: I wanted to explore these vital devices we use day in day out.
During secondary school, my knowledge in programming and computers grew rapidly. I wanted to learn more about computers and their applications; choosing GCSE computer science as one of my subjects was an easy decision for me as I would gain an insight into computer systems, programming, binary math and much more.
Studying a digital T-Level in software development enhanced my programming, database, and project management skills, including creating apps, using APIs for live data, and developing resilience through challenging projects.
I volunteered at my former junior school, teaching students ICT skills, coding basics, and internet safety under my former teacher's mentorship, helping them build essential IT knowledge for the future over two weeks.
I secured work placement with Athena Web Designs, an innovative company in Gloucestershire, where I developed skills in HTML, CSS, Java, and Photoshop. I created and maintained e-commerce websites and am now building my portfolio website as a final project.
Using python the game runs like a normal nougths and crosses game against an ai.
Using customtkinter the app uses an api key to find the weather in the user inputted location.
Charlie fitted well into our small team and was a pleasure to have on board. He always approached his allocated tasks in a timely manner, requesting minimal assistance, and demonstrated a strong ability to learn quickly. He contributed to a variety of projects and was particularly valuable in assisting with routine WordPress updates and maintaining client websites.
